The “Cerros de Mavicure” are the main attraction of the department of Guainía, in the Colombian Amazon, they are a set of 3 monoliths located 50 Kms south of the city of Inírida. The three hills are called: Pajarito, Mono and Mavicure (712, 480 and 170 meters respectively) and are located in an area that is sacred to several indigenous communities and contains a unique natural wealth in which is also the fluvial star of the South, meeting point of the Guaviare, Inirida and Atapabo rivers where the Orinoco River is formed During this tour you also will experience a pristine destination denominated “the land of many waters” thanks to all its rivers with different colours and indigenous territories with preserved ecosystems.

(10:30) – Estimated arrival and welcome by our local team at Inirida airport (the flight our might change depending on the airline schedule for that day), after that you will be transfered in private vehicles to the hotel, where you will do the check-in and will have lunch. After that you will do a city-tour with a local guide and then will visit “Laguna de las Brujas” by boat or by walking (depending on the season “dry or rain”) where you will spend the afternoon, later on you will return to the hotel in order to rest and will have dinner.
(07:00) – Breakfast at the hotel and then you will navigate the Inirida river in speedboats towards the Mavicure hills, which will take approximately 2 hours, once there we will set the camp-site at an indigenous community and will have lunch and then we will start the attempt to ascent of one of the Mavicure hills in order to see the sunset from one of them. Ending the day we will spend the night in hammocks or tents depending on the option chosen previously.
(05:30) – Breakfast at the camp-site and attempt to ascent one of the Mavicure hills, after that you will be taken by boat to the area of “Caño San Joaquin” where you will have the chance to shower in its red waters. Then you will be taken back to the camp-site where you will have lunch and start to pack to get back, once we are ready, we will take the speedboat back trying to see on the way back pink dolphins that depending on the season abound in the area, then to get back to the city of Inirida where we will sleep at the hotel and will have dinner.
(07:00) – Breakfast at the hotel and then ground transportation in private vehicles in order to visit the flooded savannahs of the Inirida flower, where we will ascent the Vitina hill and end the tour visiting the artisans community of “El Coco”. Afterwards you will have lunch and will do the check-out in order to start the navigation on the Inirida river by boat heading to the Inirida Fluvial Star, which is the encounter of 4 big amazon rivers with different colours: Guaviare, Inirida, Atabapo & Orinoco, then heading to Tuparro National Park setting a campsite at the point of “Mantequero” and having dinner there.
(07:00) – Breakfast at the campsite and then navigation till the entrance of “Tuparro” national park where we will attempt the ascent of the “Guahibo” hill. Afterwards you will visit the indigenous cemetery at the area and having lunch there, afterwards we will head to the shores of Orinoco river where we will set the campsite and will have dinner there.
(07:00) – Breakfast at the campsite and then a boat transfer to the “Garcitas” village where you will have the chance to see river dolphins while crossing the “Raudal of Atures” in order to get to the point of “Causarito” where you will have lunch and afterwards will navigate towards Puerto Carreño where you will do the check-in at the hotel and will have rest and dinner.
(07:00) – Breakfast at the hotel and then visit of “Cerro de la Bandera” where you can contemplate the Vichada Savannah’s where Meta, Orinoco & Bita river can be admired, afterwards we will head back to the town in order to have lunch and prepare the luggage in order to head to the airport and finish our adventure heading back to Bogotá in flights operated by SATENA airline.
